Stay Available

Sometimes a loved one needs a live-in personel to stay for an extended period. Just because the length of assistance is long, that doesn’t mean that you or they should ever have to worry about the quality of services and care.

All Are Welcome

Whether you are travelling out of town, in need of a break from the demands that care-giving can require, or seeking temporary assistance following surgery or rehabilitation, we offer short-term programs in a safe, comfortable, and caring environment. Relax and rest assured that your loved one is being cared for. Short term assistance receives the same high level of services and care as our long-term assistance, and they have access to all of our life enrichment programs, as well as three locally sourced meals a day.

Post-Hospitalization / Post-Surgery Care

We take care of the elderly, middle aged and young aged clients who need supportive, during and after hospitalization, at terminal stage of illness or other kinds of everyday or special help.

We provide after surgery care, help to follow doctor's and physical therapist's recommendations, assistance with physical exercises and medication monitor.

Hospice care

Our dedicated professional team strives to support our patients and their family members whenever life presents the most significant challenges. We can initiate hospice care for you or your loved one. Because every patient is different, the challenges and needs will also be different. Our caregivers help create personalized care plans, set individual goals, and manage pain and symptoms.

When to Consider Hospice Care

Hospice is a special way of caring for people with terminal illness. Knowing when to schedule a hospice evaluation can be difficult. Some signs that may indicate potential eligibility for hospice care are:

  • Unplanned weight loss
  • Excessive sleeping throughout the day
  • Multiple hospital visits / stays in the past six months
  • Excessive swelling of the legs and ankles, even when feet are propped up
  • Difficulty breathing, even at rest or with increased oxygen levels
  • Weakness during activities of daily living
  • Frequent changes in medications
  • Pain that is poorly controlled
  • Loss of interest in activities
  • Not "bouncing back" after an illness
  • Not responding to current treatments or therapy
  • Loss of appetite
  • Confusion
  • Wounds that aren't healing
  • Loss of speech
  • Infections
  • Trouble sleeping due to pain, shortness of breath or other symptoms
